Description

Ultra Cultured Acropora

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with a True Reef-Building Centerpiece

Looking for a showstopping SPS coral that commands attention? Ultra Cultured Acropora are among the most sought-after corals in the reef-keeping hobby, prized for their intricate branching architecture, electric coloration, and the unmistakable sense of prestige they bring to any saltwater aquarium. Our hand-selected Ultra Acropora fragments are sourced from proven, high-color parent colonies, displaying vivid combinations of blues, greens, purples, and pinks that intensify under quality reef lighting. This is not your average frag. It's a statement piece.

Acropora are fast growers when water chemistry is dialed in, making them one of the most rewarding SPS corals to cultivate in a mature reef tank. Over time, a single frag will branch outward and upward into a dramatic, tree-like structure that becomes a focal point of your entire aquascape. They thrive in the upper to mid zones of a high-flow, high-light setup, and experienced reef keepers often consider them the ultimate benchmark of a truly optimized marine aquarium.

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every Ultra Cultured Acropora leaving The Coral Boutique is ethically sourced from captive aquaculture operations, carefully quarantined, and conditioned under our reef systems to ensure it is fully acclimated and thriving before it ships to you. When you buy Acropora online, there's no better guarantee of quality than a coral that's already proven itself in our tanks.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.
