Native to the Red Sea, it is bold, beautiful, and unambiguous about who runs the reef.

The Sohal is not a community tang. It is a centerpiece specimen for large, mature systems where it can be the alpha. It's best introduced last into an established tank and given plenty of open water to claim. Acclimation

Acclimate fish carefully and introduce them into a stable, established saltwater aquarium. Match temperature and salinity slowly, keep lights low during introduction, and monitor behavior closely after release.
