Description

Holy Grail Torch Coral

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with a Neon Green Torch Tipped in Purple

Looking for the torch that collectors keep asking about? The Holy Grail Torch is one of the most sought-after Euphyllia morphs in the saltwater aquarium hobby. Its long tentacles glow neon green and end in purple tips, and they sway with the current all day. Under blue lighting, the contrast reads from across the room.

Torch corals (Euphyllia glabrescens) are large polyp stony (LPS) corals from the Indo-Pacific, where they grow in lagoons and on reef slopes under diffused light. Copy that in your reef tank with moderate lighting and moderate, indirect flow that moves the tentacles without blasting them, since strong direct flow makes them retract. Start it at lower intensity and raise the light over two to three weeks. Torches handle small swings better than most SPS, but stable water is what keeps one healthy and colored up. Plan the placement, too. Torches are semi-aggressive, and their sweeper tentacles sting nearby corals, so leave several inches of open space around this one.

QUICK STATS & CARE GUIDE

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every coral at The Coral Boutique is ethically sourced, quarantined, and conditioned in our Miami facility before it ships. We hold each torch until it's settled and fully extending, so you can buy a Holy Grail Torch online knowing it's ready for your tank.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.
