Description

Gold X Lightning Maroon Clown

Transform Your Tank with a True Designer Specimen

Looking for the rarest clown morph available? The Gold X Lightning Maroon is the result of crossing two of the most visually striking designer morphs in the hobby — producing an offspring with bold, erratic white patterning on a deep, wine-red body trimmed in gold. No two are identical, which means the specimen you select is genuinely one of a kind. If you're searching to buy rare maroon clown online, this is the listing you've been waiting for.

Maroon clowns are among the largest and most commanding clown species in the saltwater aquarium world, reaching up to 6 inches at full maturity. They have a bold, assertive personality to match their looks — confident, curious, and deeply entertaining to observe, especially when paired with a host anemone. For the aquarist who wants a centerpiece specimen that commands attention in a reef tank or aggressive marine aquarium, the Gold X Lightning Maroon delivers on every level.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible fish orders are covered by our Arrival Guarantee. If there’s an issue on arrival, email clear photos within 4 hours of delivery so our team can review and help. Failed delivery attempts, refused packages, or missed delivery windows may void coverage.

Acclimation

Acclimate fish carefully and introduce them into a stable, established saltwater aquarium. Match temperature and salinity slowly, keep lights low during introduction, and monitor behavior closely after release.

Photography

We photograph our fish under balanced, aquarium-safe lighting to accurately represent their true coloration and patterning. Our goal is to show how each fish will appear in a home reef or marine setup—not under overly blue or altered lighting.

Because fish are active and constantly moving, images are representative of the species and quality you can expect. Every fish is carefully selected for health, coloration, and temperament before shipping.

SELECTED FOR ESTABLISHED SYSTEMS

Healthy Fish Start With Careful Selection.

Every fish is selected with color, behavior, and compatibility in mind. We focus on livestock that makes sense for real reef systems, not just impulse purchases.

If you have questions about temperament, tank size, or reef compatibility, contact us before ordering.
