Chemi-Pure Blue: 5.5 oz (Treats up to 35 Gallons)
Transform Your Tank with Reef-Specific Chemical Filtration
Looking for a filter media built specifically for reef and marine aquariums? Chemi-Pure Blue by Boyd Enterprises is the reef-keeper's evolution of the original Chemi-Pure formula, engineered to deliver the crystal-clear water, stable parameters, and vibrant coral coloration that serious saltwater hobbyists demand. At The Coral Boutique, it's one of our most-recommended chemical filtration choices for nano reefs and AIO setups.
Chemi-Pure Blue uses laboratory-grade hybrid ion-exchange resins paired with QuickWash Carbon, a 0.8mm extruded pelletized activated carbon with 30% more surface area than Boyd's original formula. Together, they rapidly adsorb nitrogenous organic compounds, phosphates, silicates, dissolved metals, copper, phenols, odors, and medication residues, leaving water polished and contaminant-free. Just as importantly, the proprietary blend raises redox/ORP and helps stabilize pH without stripping essential trace elements, so corals keep their color, polyp extension stays strong, and SPS, LPS, and softies all benefit from cleaner, more stable conditions. Better water clarity also means better light penetration, letting your reef lighting deliver peak PAR to your corals.
