Description

Bright Yuma Mushroom

Transform Your Tank with a Living Kaleidoscope of Color

Looking for a true showstopper coral... The Bright Yuma Mushroom (Ricordea yuma) is one of the most visually striking soft corals available in the reef hobby, known for its intense, jewel-toned coloration and mesmerizing bubble-textured surface. Unlike common mushrooms, Yumas display a complexity of hues — electric greens, vivid oranges, deep reds — that shift under reef lighting in ways that never get old. This WYSIWYG specimen is exactly what you see: a one-of-a-kind piece you won't find duplicated anywhere else.

Ricordea yuma typically reaches 2–4 inches in diameter at full maturity, making it a bold focal point even in a modest reef tank. It's a slow, steady grower that will gradually reproduce through natural division, rewarding patient aquarists with a spreading colony over time. Peaceful by nature, it coexists beautifully in a community reef setup as long as adequate spacing is maintained from more aggressive neighbors.
