Transform Your Tank with a Living, Kaleidoscopic Centerpiece
Looking for a showstopper that earns double-takes? The Jawbreaker Mushroom is one of the most coveted corals in the reef hobby — and with good reason. Its concentric rings of electric color, ranging from vivid greens and blues to deep reds and purples, create a hypnotic, candy-like pattern that no other species can replicate. Ours are hand-selected for the brightest, most defined banding — the kind of coloration that photographs as well as it looks in person.
Jawbreakers are a single polyp mushroom coral (Discosoma sp.) that grows slowly and steadily, eventually spreading to 3–5 inches across under ideal conditions. They're remarkably forgiving, making them an excellent addition to both established reef tanks and well-cycled beginner setups. Beyond their beauty, there's a quiet satisfaction in watching one fully inflate and settle into its spot — they develop a real sense of presence in any saltwater aquarium.
