Each polyp is short, fleshy and packed tight against its neighbors, so the frag looks solid and full from the start. It grows by encrusting outward and adding new heads along the edges, slowly filling in its spot on the rock. It does best low in the reef tank or on the sand bed, with gentle to moderate flow and PAR of about 50 to 150. Keep other corals a few inches away, since its sweeper tentacles reach out after lights out.
