Description

Ultra Rainbow Rhodactis Colony

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with an Explosion of Living Color

Looking for a showpiece that stops you mid-stride? The Ultra Rainbow Rhodactis is one of the most visually striking mushroom corals available in the hobby — a single colony capable of displaying electric blues, vivid greens, deep purples, and warm reds simultaneously, all shifting subtly under reef lighting. True "ultra" grade specimens like these are hand-selected for exceptional pigmentation and polyp density, and they don't stay available long.

Rhodactis colonies are fast growers with personality to match their looks — their large, textured discs expand dramatically under stable conditions, creating a lush, carpet-like effect across rockwork and sandy substrates. Moderately aggressive with chemical allelopathy, they reward aquarists who give them their own real estate to dominate. A rewarding choice for reef keepers ready to graduate from standard morphs to something genuinely special in their saltwater aquarium.

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every specimen from The Coral Boutique is ethically sourced, fully quarantined, and conditioned in our Miami facility until it is actively expanding and responding well before it ever ships to you. We don't send stressed corals — we send corals that are ready to thrive.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.

SHOT IN HOUSE
