Neon Aussie Banana Elegance

Neon Aussie Banana Elegance Coral

Transform Your Tank with Vivid Australian Color and Form

Looking for something truly rare in the reef hobby? The Neon Aussie Banana Elegance (Catalaphyllia jardinei) is one of the most visually arresting specimens available in the saltwater aquarium trade, sourced from Australian waters where color morphs reach an intensity simply not found in Indo-Pacific alternatives. That signature banana-yellow core, ringed with electric neon green tentacle tips, makes this a genuine showpiece in any marine aquarium.

Elegance corals are large-polyp stony (LPS) corals with a sweeping, dramatic extension that can easily double or triple their skeletal footprint when fully open. Plan your aquascape accordingly and give this specimen the space it deserves. Despite a reputation for being temperamental, Australian specimens are widely regarded as far hardier and more forgiving than their counterparts, rewarding attentive aquarists with steady growth and an almost mesmerizing feeding response when target-fed meaty foods. Watching this coral come alive at feeding time is one of the genuine privileges of keeping it.
