Description

Malay Neon Toadstool

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with Electric Color and Effortless Elegance

Looking for a showstopper soft coral that actually delivers... The Malay Neon Toadstool is one of the most visually striking Sarcophyton variants in the hobby. Its vivid neon-green polyps and luminous cap set it apart from the common toadstool selections you'll find elsewhere. Sourced from the pristine waters of the Malay Archipelago, this is a regionally distinct specimen that serious reef keepers genuinely hunt for. If you've been searching to buy Malay Neon Toadstool online, this is as clean and true-to-form as it gets.

This toadstool leather grows into an impressive, wide-capped colony over time, developing a graceful mushroom silhouette with densely packed polyp extensions that sway beautifully in flow. It's a rewarding addition for aquarists of any level, hardy, adaptable, and visually dynamic whether it's fully extended or in a temporary retracted phase. Its presence adds genuine depth and movement to any saltwater aquarium or reef tank setup.

QUICK STATS & CARE GUIDE

  • Water Conditions: 72 to 78°F, salinity 1.025 to 1.026, pH 8.1 to 8.4, dKH 8 to 12, moderate lighting and moderate flow

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every Malay Neon Toadstool leaving The Coral Boutique is ethically sourced, fully quarantined, and conditioned in our systems until it's actively extending polyps and acclimating well, so you receive a specimen that's ready to thrive from day one, not just survive the journey.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.
