Maintaining magnesium in the 1,300–1,350 ppm range prevents calcium carbonate precipitation, stabilizes your calcium and alkalinity relationship, and supports healthy skeletal development in both SPS corals and coralline algae. For tanks running low — below 1,288 ppm — the solution can be dosed at up to 10 ml per 20 gallons daily to bring levels back into range efficiently.
