Description

Hologram Hammer Coral: Single Head

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with a Living, Shimmering Centerpiece

Looking for a coral that stops you in your tracks... The Hologram Hammer is one of the most visually striking euphyllia variants in the hobby, prized for its iridescent, multi-toned tentacles that appear to shift color under reef lighting, cycling between electric green, teal, and gold depending on your spectrum. Single-head specimens like this one are ideal for aquarists who want an immediate statement piece with serious grow-out potential. Available in limited quantities at The Coral Boutique, this is not a coral you'll find at your local shop.

Hammer corals are large-polyp stony (LPS) corals with slow, steady growth and a deeply satisfying presence in any saltwater aquarium. The flowing, hammer-shaped tentacle tips extend dramatically during feeding and under stable lighting, giving your reef tank a constant sense of motion and life. This single-head frag is a smart starting point: over time it will branch and develop into a multi-head colony that becomes a true architectural anchor in your aquascape. It's a rewarding long-term addition for intermediate to advanced reef keepers who appreciate both beauty and biology.

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every specimen we ship is ethically sourced, fully quarantined, and carefully conditioned in our Miami facility before it leaves our hands. We don't ship anything we wouldn't put in our own display tanks. Your Hologram Hammer arrives acclimated, healthy, and ready to thrive from day one.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.
