Description

24K Gold Torch Coral

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with Living Gold That Actually Moves

Looking for a showpiece that earns every second of attention? The 24K Gold Torch Coral is one of the most sought-after color morphs in the reef tank hobby — its deep, metallic gold tentacles catch light in a way that photographs can't fully capture. This is a premium variant that serious collectors pursue, and availability is always limited. If you've been waiting to buy torch coral online from a source you can trust, this is your moment.

Torch corals are long-polyp stony (LPS) corals with a mesmerizing, flowing movement that brings genuine life to any saltwater aquarium. As it settles into your tank, it will extend fully, showing off those brilliant gold tips in all their glory. It's a rewarding species for aquarists who appreciate a coral with real presence — one that responds visibly to good water quality and consistent care.

QUICK STATS & CARE GUIDE

  • Common Name: 24K Gold Torch Coral
  • Current Size: Varies by availability — listed size noted at time of purchase
  • Care Level: Moderate (stable parameters are key; not recommended for brand-new setups)
  • Temperament: Semi-aggressive (has sweeper tentacles; maintain spacing from neighboring corals)
  • Diet: Photosynthetic; benefits from targeted feeding of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp or coral-specific blends 1–2x weekly
  • Reef Safe: Yes (with caution — allow adequate space between corals)
  • Water Conditions: Temp 76–79°F, salinity 1.025–1.026, calcium 400–450 ppm, alkalinity 8–9.5 dKH, moderate lighting and moderate flow

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every specimen from The Coral Boutique is ethically sourced, fully quarantined, and conditioned in our Miami facility — eating well and acclimated before it ever ships to you. We don't move coral until it's ready, because your reef tank deserves nothing less.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.

SHOT IN HOUSE
