Description

24K Gold Torch Coral (2 Heads)

Typical needs for this coral type. Ask us if you're unsure.

Transform Your Tank with Pure Liquid Gold

Looking for a showstopper that commands attention... The 24K Gold Torch Coral is one of the most coveted designer morphs in the saltwater aquarium hobby — and for good reason. Its long, flowing tentacles shimmer in shades of deep gold with an iridescent metallic quality that no photograph truly captures. This 2-head specimen from The Coral Boutique represents a serious collector's piece for the reef tank enthusiast who refuses to settle.

This 2-head torch arrives with established polyp structure, giving you a head start on what will grow into a breathtaking colony over time. Torch corals have a distinct personality — tentacles extend dramatically during the day and retract at night, creating a living, pulsing centerpiece in any marine aquarium. Watching this coral thrive and eventually branch into new heads is one of the most rewarding experiences in the saltwater tank hobby.

QUICK STATS & CARE GUIDE

  • Common Name: 24K Gold Torch Coral
  • Current Size: 2 Heads
  • Care Level: Moderate (consistent water parameters are essential for long-term success)
  • Temperament: Semi-aggressive (sweeper tentacles can sting neighboring corals — allow adequate spacing)
  • Diet: Photosynthetic; benefits from supplemental target feeding with meaty foods such as Mysis shrimp or coral-specific preparations 1–2x per week
  • Reef Safe: Yes, with caution (maintain distance from adjacent corals)
  • Water Conditions: 72–78°F, salinity 1.025–1.026, pH 8.1–8.4, dKH 8–12, moderate lighting and moderate flow

WHY BUY FROM THE CORAL BOUTIQUE?

Every coral we ship from The Coral Boutique is ethically sourced, fully quarantined, and conditioned in our Miami facility until it's eating, extending, and thriving — so what arrives at your door is a specimen already on its way to becoming something extraordinary.

WYSIWYG on Select Items

If this coral is in our WYSIWYG collection and has one in stock, the photos show the exact frag or colony that ships to you. Otherwise, the photos may be representative.

Shipping & Pickup

Coral orders ship Monday through Wednesday. We confirm a delivery day with you before your order goes out, and we will hold it if the weather is bad or a coral needs more time in quarantine.

Coral orders over $399 qualify for free shipping. Fish orders over $599 qualify for free shipping. Free same-day Miami pickup is available at 46 NW 36th St and is usually ready in 1–2 hours.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible coral orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the coral in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day.

Acclimation

For best results, acclimate slowly and place new corals in lower light and flow before moving them to their final position. Coral response can vary depending on tank stability, lighting, flow, and water parameters.

Photography

We photograph our corals in house, up close, so you can judge color, shape and polyp extension. For WYSIWYG listings with one in stock, the photographed coral is the exact coral that ships.

SHOT IN HOUSE
