Description

Hybrid Powder Blue X White Cheek Tang (Medium)

Transform Your Tank with a One-of-a-Kind Hybrid Showpiece

Looking for something truly impossible to replicate... The Hybrid Powder Blue X White Cheek Tang is one of the hobby's most coveted crossbreeds — a natural rarity that blends the electric blue body and bold black mask of the Powder Blue with the striking white cheek patches of the White Cheek Tang, resulting in a color pattern you simply won't find in any other specimen. These hybrids occur only occasionally in the wild and are exceptionally difficult to source in quantity, making each one a genuine collector's piece for the serious marine aquarium enthusiast.

At medium size, this specimen is fully expressing its hybrid coloration and is past the vulnerability of juvenile life, making it a more confident and rewarding addition to an established saltwater aquarium. Tangs of this lineage are active, bold swimmers that bring constant motion and personality to a reef tank — they'll claim territory, interact with tankmates, and become an undeniable focal point the moment they're introduced. For aquarists who want something that generates genuine conversation, this hybrid delivers every single day.

Live Arrival Guarantee

Eligible livestock orders are covered by our Live Arrival Guarantee. Photograph the animal in its sealed bag before you open anything, then email that photo with your order number within two hours of delivery. Our team reviews every claim and gets you an answer within one business day. Failed delivery attempts, refused packages, or missed delivery windows may void coverage.

Acclimation

Acclimate fish carefully and introduce them into a stable, established saltwater aquarium. Match temperature and salinity slowly, keep lights low during introduction, and monitor behavior closely after release.

Photography

We photograph our fish under balanced, aquarium-safe lighting to accurately represent their true coloration and patterning. Our goal is to show how each fish will appear in a home reef or marine setup—not under overly blue or altered lighting.

Because fish are active and constantly moving, images are representative of the species and quality you can expect. Every fish is carefully selected for health, coloration, and temperament before shipping.
