Large Blue Face Koi Tang
Transform Your Tank with a Fully Mature Blue Face Koi Tang at Peak Coloration
Looking for a Koi Tang that's already arrived — no growing out, no waiting for color to develop? This large Acanthurus japonicus is a fully mature specimen displaying the Blue Face morph at its most dramatic: the vivid blue-white facial mask is bold and well-defined, the body rich and deeply colored, and the orange and yellow tail accents fully saturated. Large tangs carry a presence that smaller specimens simply can't replicate — they own the space they swim in and immediately elevate the energy of any saltwater aquarium they inhabit.
At large size, this tang is an established, confident swimmer that will acclimate quickly and assert itself in the tank without hesitation. It's reef safe and generally peaceful with non-tang tankmates, but will need room — a large system with high flow and plenty of open water is non-negotiable. Feed nori consistently to maintain that exceptional facial coloration and you'll have a centerpiece specimen for years to come.
